”The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge…He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
    he drew me out of deep waters.”

Psalm 18:2.16

Gretchen O’Donnell is an island girl living on the prairie. She is a freelance writer and former columnist for The Globe. For a couple of years she even had a Sunday morning radio show, Everyday Epiphanies. In her writings she discusses everything from her lifelong secret desire to be a DJ to the humiliations of skiing in Switzerland. Occasionally she talks about parenting and ornithology and the pressure of having an Irish last name on St. Patrick's Day. She and her husband and three children live in southwest Minnesota, where she writes, cooks, drinks the occasional cup of coffee, and reads. From time to time she even dusts.

Archive. Oldies but goodies.
